At the end of the day, you may still feel like you haven’t done what really matters most to YOU.
That can leave you feeling unfulfilled – like something is missing – AND like you’re just on that hamster wheel of busy-ness.
And, it’s not YOUR fault, if you’ve been feeling that way.
You think you’re busy, wait ‘til you hear what I did today…
Staying busy does not help us AT ALL if we’re busy completing tasks that…
…are not in alignment with our true purpose or underlying values.
…provide a distraction or take us away from focusing on areas that will give us the greatest life fulfilment and help us to live a more purposeful, meaningful and authentic life.
So, we can be busy doing stuff, but that feeling unfulfilled and disconnected comes from focusing and doing all the stuff that does not align with our purpose and does not give our life meaning.
Most people, including myself, get caught up in activities, projects, and obligations that have nothing to do with what we value most. It’s easy to do.
We want to be helpful, we want to be seen as a team player, and we want to be liked and loved. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. It’s wonderful to help others…
WHEN… it aligns with our purpose and goals AND when that time, energy, and focus is NOT to our own detriment.
